A Place for Solitude, Silence, and Spirituality
“Be still and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10)
Judson Mission View is a sanctuary for solitude and spiritual renewal, nestled just fifty miles north of Baton Rouge, Lousiana, outside the historic town of St. Francisville. Here, on more than 1,300 acres of rolling hills, forests, and water, the noise of the world fades, and the stillness of God’s creation takes center stage.
With a quiet wooded shoreline and covered bridge connecting its twin waters, this lake is designed not only for aesthetics, but for encounters with God.
More than 40 miles of carefully groomed trails wind through these woods. Along the edge of Thompson Creek—with its rare sand-bottom clarity—our guests can enter a rhythm of walking prayer, reflection, and communion with God.
Spread across the property are cabins, a chapel, a guest lodge, a director’s home, cafeteria, staff housing, recreational building, a pool, 3 recreational fields, a livestock facility, 4 lakes with 5 piers, an observation deck high above Thompson Creek, multiple wildlife viewing stands, and numerous gathering spaces for teaching, fellowship, and spiritual formation.
